ABOUT OUR CLUB

The Hendersonville Radio Control Club is chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (Charter No. 704).  The goals of the club are to have fun, be safe, enjoy and promote this great hobby.

The club provides a friendly atmosphere for newcomers to the hobby to learn and get the most enjoyment out of the hobby.  We have free flight instruction with registered instructors and two club trainer aircraft for use by club members while they are being trained.

We have been graciously allowed to maintain an excellent facility for flying our models through the benevolence of the City of Hendersonville and the US Army Corps of Engineers.  Our model airplane field in Sanders Ferry Park has a setup with safety considered foremost in the design.
